Beetroot and Cocoa Bliss Balls

These beetroot and cocoa bliss balls are chocolaty, delicious, healthy AND super easy to whip up when you’re in the mood for something sweet.


Recipe

Beetroot and Cocoa Bliss Balls 

(Makes about 15 bliss balls)

Ingredients

100 gms cooked beets, grated 
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup raw almonds
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp pure vanilla 
50 gms golden raisins (approx. 1/4 cup)
2 tbsp honey 
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 

Method

Pulse the oats and almonds in a high-powered blender until finely ground.

Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend, scraping down the sides at regular intervals.

Once the mixture is smooth, remove and refrigerate for an hour.

Form equal-sized portions of the dough into balls and roll them in cocoa or beetroot powder.

Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
