Jamun Popsicles

These pretty purple popsicles hold the honor of being my most liked and regrammed post on Instagram. Made with jamun (Java plums), banana and chia seeds, they are a fun summer dessert (think purple tongues!) that everyone will enjoy. Super simple to make, yet refreshing and delicious. For these, I tweaked my jamun nice cream recipe.


Recipe

Jamun Popsicles

(Makes 6 small popsicles)

Ingredients

1/4 cup Greek yogurt
20 jamun (Java plums), deseeded 
2 ripe, frozen bananas 
1 tbsp honey (more if you prefer it sweeter)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lime juice
1 tbsp chia seeds

Method

Blend all the ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth (scrape down the sides a few times to ensure even blending).

Pour into popsicle molds, freeze and enjoy.
