Mohabbat Ka Sharbat Popsicles

Taking inspiration from my homemade Rooh Afza mix, I had made these popsicles before going on vacation. I grew up in New Delhi, but hadn’t even heard of this drink for the 25 years I lived there. I saw it for the first time on Instagram. Made with a mix of cold milk, Rooh Afza and chunks of watermelon, it sounded like a refreshing summer treat. After recreating a healthier version of Rooh Afza, I attempted to try this sherbet in popsicle form. They were delicious. Of course, you’d have to be on Team Rooh Afza to appreciate them.


Recipe

Mohabbat Ka Sharbat Popsicles

I blended my homemade Rooh Afza concentrate with some canned coconut milk, extra kewra and rose water.

I mixed in some finely chopped watermelon and soaked chia seeds, then froze the mixture in kulfi molds.
